biggerbronc 300x208 Riders New Asst. is Nic Bedelyon of Kent State, he Talks to Takedown WrestlingRider Coaches Gary Taylor and John Hangey took their time when looking for their new assistant. They wanted a young man that could compete, coach and grow with their program. They also wanted a young man who wanted to be a coach, a head coach. They found one in Kent, Ohio.

 

Nic Bedelyon was the Third wrestler in Kent State history to be a two-time All-American. He had 113 career victories which ranks sixth most in program history and third most without a redshirt season. Nic became just the fifth wrestler in Kent State history to qualify for NCAA Championships four times. He was a Four-time MAC finalist and two-time MAC champion and is now an assistant at Rider University.
